The Washington, D.C. Alumnae Foundation, Delta Sigma
Theta, Inc. is an independent publicly supported non-profit organization.
The Foundation awards grants annually to non-profit organizations with a
project or activity that is:•
Organized and implemented exclusively for charitable,
religious,
educational, or scientific purposes.
•
Targeted
for the needs of underserved individuals or groups
in Washington, D.C.
•
Has
not received a grant from the Foundation during the past
two years.
Grant proposals should include:
•
The name, address, telephone number, and e-mail address
of the point of contact.
•
A description of the proposed project or activity.
•
The inception date of the project or activity.
•
An estimated cost per person to be served.
•
A proposed budget outlining how the grant will be utilized.
•
A list of other potential funding sources.
Grant applications for the 2008 year are due by October
31, 2008. Grants will be awarded at the
Annual Breakfast Fashion Show and Auction.
